TWIKE Interface for PC Connection

Art. No. 001 377 Fr. 580.
Version TEST31

[This is a translation of the document found with the TWIKE Software floppy containing TEST31s.exe. A translation of some terms used in the Twike software below is available here.]

Three variants exist (the first two can be downloaded):

The interface and software permit the evaluation of battery data and static frequency changer (inverter/controller) in detail. The software was originally written for initializing the batteries. A customer version now also permits data logging while driving and during the charging procedure (as of software version 4.10). The data can be transferred to most spreadsheet programs for graphic evaluation.

Pressing F1 indicates available functions.

 Diagram of PC Interface Connections

  1. Operation of the TWIKE
  2. A1) Master mode

    Mode for PC output, queries:

    Functions:

      Momentary data
      Statistical values (F2)
Changes in Ah conditions (Empty, Half, Full)
Voltage, temperature and current calibration (TEST31s)

Note: Keys 1,2,3 select each battery by its respective number.

» Static frequency changer switched off, charge cord plugged into internal box
» Emergency stop (Disconnect) button switched on
    » "M" for master operation

    Pattern A1

    A2) Slave mode

Mode for monitoring communication functions between static frequency changer and batteries:

    Functions:

      Momentary current, voltage and temperature
(as of TWK 4.10 also km and speed)
"L" for producing a log file

» "S" for slave mode (standard position when starting TEST programs)
» for switching on static frequency changer during driving or charging procedure

    Pattern such as A1

  3. Individual battery mode
  4. Makes possible data query of the batteries when removed from the TWIKE

Functions:
Query instantaneous values
Query statistical values (F2)
Temperature, voltage and current calibration (TEST31s)
Battery numbers assigned (TEST31s)
Battery report expressions (R)
» Attach 9 V trafo (separate 9V power supply?) at 4-pole plug
» "M" for master operation

Pattern B):
